year-round fishing destination, withe the peak season
falling between June and August. Sailfish is not the
only fish out there. Home to mahi mahi (Dolphinfish),
marlin, barracuda and tuna Phuket`s waters offer some of
the most diverse fishing in the world.

the nature and the power of the fish - that`s the
fascination for the sportfishers.
Catch and release fish - there are
only so many fish in the sea. If possible, release what
you catch. Certainly some tastier fish will hit the
dinner plate, but only take what you can consume.
Billfish can be released after capture by holding them
securely in the water until enough oxygen has moved
through their gills. While some fishermen may tell you
the fish will die anyway from exhaustion, it is not true.
